LetsMesh MQTT Broker for Meshcore Home Assistant

If you are using a MeshCore companion node in Home Assistant with the MeshCore Home Assistant integration, you can also push the messages/packets to LetsMesh Analyzer via MQTT.

  • In Home Assistant, go to Settings > Devices & services > MeshCore
  • Click the Configure cogwheel
  • Select Manage MQTT Brokers and click Submit
  • Select Add Broker and click Submit
    • Enabled
    • Server: mqtt-us-v1.letsmesh.net or mqtt-eu-v1.letsmesh.net
    • Port: 443
    • Transport: websockets
    • Use TLS: Enabled
    • Verify TLS Certificate: Enabled
    • Use MeshCore Auth Token: Enabled
    • Token Audience: The same value you entered for server
    • Owner Public Key: the public key of your companion
    • Owner Email: the email address of your forum.letsmetsh.net account, this way your companion is linked to your LetsMesh account.
    • Auth Token TTL (seconds)
    • Payload Mode: packet
    • Status Topic: leave at meshcore/{IATA}/{PUBLIC_KEY}/status
    • Packets Topic: leave at meshcore/{IATA}/{PUBLIC_KEY}/packets
    • IATA (per-broker topic region code): change this to an appropriate IATA code, you can check https://analyzer.letsmesh.net/map/iata for one in your neighborhood
